El día de hoy quisiera comentar un libro que he leído. El libro se llama "El despertar del líder" de Kevin Kashman y Jack Jarem.
Es un libro el cual puede ayudarnos a entender la importancia de sacar el líder de dentro de nosotros mismos, así cómo a superar algunos momentos de bajón que podemos tener, como humanos.
Hay unas frases que quisiera resaltar. La primera es:
El coraje no es la ausencia de temor; es hacer lo que es importante incluso en presencia del temor.
Los líderes auténticos asumen una posición coherente con sus principios frente al conflicto, el rechazo, el riesgo... e incluso la muerte. Con esta frase es importante entender que las cosas no son faciles para nadie, solo que hay que buscar todo lo que hay en nuestro interior para poder enfrentar las situaciones complicadas, a todo nivel (personal, trabajo, sentimental...).
Las Semillas:
- la semilla del objetivo: toque la música de su corazón.
- la semilla de la autenticidad: Ame la flor, ame la espina. (nuestras fuerzas y debilidades).
Una semilla no nace para seguir siendo una semilla, sino para crecer. Los cachorros son simpáticos pero no hay ninguna razón para que sigan siendo cachorros eternamente. Tenemos que crecer, florecer. Somos mucho más de lo que creemos. Pág. 356 del libro.
Tenemos que evolucionar, no podemos pensar que debemos de quedarnos siendo lo que somos. Hay que avanzar y hay que buscar el éxito en cada paso.
Los líderes son las antorchas que iluminan el camino, y al mismo tiempo impulsan a los otros a alcanzar nuevos horizontes.
Los logros aumentan nuestras fuerzas y las experiencias traumáticas nos hacen crecer. Como líderes, tenemos tendencia al logro, pero a menudo aprendemos mucho cuando damos un paso en falso. Como escribió Warren Bennis: "Los reverses son una oportunidad de crecimiento".
Cuando eres pequeño te hacen llegar este mensaje. Si viste "Bola de Dragón", recordarás cómo el personaje "Goku" multiplica su fuerza después de cada batalla, y más aún cuando tiene un contrincante difícil.
Para hacer más hay que ser más. Hay que preparar la Esencia para un desempeño más dinámico y productivo. Es como un arquero que tensa su arco para arrojar la flecha, y luego descansa con el fin de conseguir un tiro más certero.
El liderazgo eficaz y sostenible requiere una conexión en tres niveles: YO (el poder personal), NOSOTROS (el poder relacional) y ELLO (el poder del desempeño). Esto asegura nuestra eficacia progresiva.

Today I would like to discuss a book I read. The book is called "The Awakening leader" of Kashmir and Jack Jarem Kevin.
It is a book which can help us understand the importance of getting a leader from within ourselves and how to overcome some times of downturn that we have as humans.
There are some phrases I would like to highlight. The first is:
Courage is not absence of fear, is to do what is important even in the presence of fear.
Authentic leaders take a position consistent with its principles in the conflict, rejection, risk ...and even death. With this phrase is important to understand that things are not easy for anyone, just to look for everything within us to face difficult situations at all levels (personal, work, sentimental ...).
Seeds:
- The seed of the goal: play music from his heart.
- The seed of authenticity: Love the flower love the spine. (Our strengths and weaknesses).
A seed is not born to remain a seed, but to grow. Puppies are cute but there is no reason to remain puppies forever. We need to grow, flourish. We are much more than we think. Page 356 of the book.
We have to evolve, we can not think that we should stay being who we are. We must move forward and to look for success at each step.
Leaders are the torches that light the way, while driving others to reach new horizons.
The achievements increase our strength and traumatic experiences make us grow. As leaders, we tend to achieve, but we often learn a lot when we take a false step. As Warren Bennis wrote: "The reverses are a growth opportunity."
When you're a small kid you do get this message. If you saw "Dragonball" will remember how the character "Goku" multiplies its strength after each battle, and even more so when ha has a difficult opponent.
To do more is there to be more. Essence must be prepared for a more dynamic and productive performance. It's like an archer who strained his bow to throw the arrow, and then rest in order to get a more accurate shot.
Effective and sustainable leadership requires a connection at three levels: I (personal power), WE (relational power) and IT (the power of performance.) This ensures our effectiveness.
